Services

Over the years we have done our best to meet the demands and request of our many customers and clients. In doing so we provide a full range of professional services which we feel are the best in the business. Please take a moment to review.

Medical:

We believe strongly that preventative medicine is the best medicine. Our hospital stresses yearly physical exams for all pets to identify any potential health problems at an early stage, so that corrective steps can be taken. Vaccination schedules are discussed and tailored to the individual pet during this yearly visit.

Diagnostic:

If medical test are required to further identify or monitor a health problem, we have a well equipped in house laboratory and a Licensed Veterinarian Technician to supply quality results. We also have accounts with many specialty labs throughout the country for more involved cases.

Surgical:

Our hospital has a modern surgical suite with constant monitoring equipment available to handle routine as well as emergency surgical procedures. Routine surgical procedures can be scheduled for any week-day.

Dental:

New research is showing that tartar accumulation and associated gum disease can have devastating effects on an animal's overall health. Particularly at risk for disease are the heart, liver and kidney. Our doctors include a dental exam in the yearly physical and can recommend preventative care at home or schedule a complete dental cleaning to remove tartar and calculus and polish the teeth.

Grooming:

We have one groomer on staff. Phyllis has many years experience and is available 4 days a week by appointment. Our groomer prefers to speak directly to the owners at time of drop-off to make sure they understand what hair cut is desired and that the condition of the coat makes that cut possible. Usually we ask that the pet be in the hospital by 9am and is usually ready to go home by 3pm. Routine bathing and flea treatments can be scheduled any day except Sunday. Again, if dropped off by 9am, Most pets are dry and ready to go by 3-4pm.

Boarding:

We have roomy runs and 3 sizes of cages available for boarding. All dogs are walked at least twice daily and given lots of individual attention. Any special foods, toys or bedding that the owner would like to leave are welcome. Reservations are recommended for holiday stays.

Quality Pet Foods:

We carry a full line of both Hill's and Purina CNM diets. This includes prescription diets for pets with health problems that can be managed with diet, as well as maintenance foods for different life stages (pediatric, adult, mature, and senior).
